SPORTS OSTEOPATHY
Sports osteopathy is a field of osteopathy that specializes in the diagnosis, treatment and possible prevention of injuries and complaints caused by sport. The aim is to help athletes recover from injuries more quickly and efficiently, to uncover and address possible weak points in the interests of prevention and to help the athlete develop their full physical potential.
WHAT DOES OUR SPORTOSTEO SESSIONS DO?
Similar to osteopathy, anamnesis and examination are used to try to find out what the problem is and what approach is the best possible. Manual techniques and guided stretching and strengthening techniques are used. In addition, self-exercises are recommended, and existing training programs are reviewed and adjusted if necessary. Another aspect is information and education. After a sports osteopathy session, athletes should better understand what demands their sport places on their bodies and how they can master them well.
